Communtu has gone open source!

May 8, 2011

Some weeks ago we finally opened Communtu’s source code. After intensive bugfixing and adding new features we decided to publish the source code using the AGPL. Now every interested user can work on the source code, which can be obtained at github following https://github.com/communtu/communtu. We recommend reading the readme-file before using Communtu locally or on a separate server. If any problems are encountered, feel free to contact us in our IRC channel #en-communtu on irc.freenode.net.

Interested users can also find us at this year’s LinuxTag in Berlin and discuss with us or ask for help if problems are encountered using the Communtu website. As last year, we have a shared booth with the Ubuntu community in hall 7.2a, booth 106. We’re looking forward to your visit!
